Thanks to the integrated model of hunting ground management, and with its own accommodation capacities in 16 hunting lodges and villas, as well as its own licensed travel agency “Vojvodinašume – Turist,” PE “Vojvodinašume” offers a complete hunting–tourism package.
The specialized branch for tourism of special features, “Vojvodinašume – Turist,” is, by statute and in organizational terms, responsible for the implementation and execution of plans in the field of hunting tourism in the hunting grounds of PE “Vojvodinašume,” and, in certain cases, in the hunting grounds of other hunting ground users.
Hunting tourism is a specific branch of tourism, whose main characteristic lies in the fact that game, as the object of hunting, is necessary to create the motive for this type of tourism. Hunting tourism is, in fact, a form of tourist movement whose primary purpose is active stay and participation in hunting as a form of recreation in the natural environment. It is also important to emphasize that hunting tourism represents the movement, stay, and expenditure of hunters–tourists in natural areas — hunting grounds — where the basic factor in meeting their needs is provided by wild animals and the very act of hunting.
