Hunting and hunting tourism in JP “Vojvodinašume” represent a privileged historical heritage with a tradition spanning several decades. The first organized hunting in these areas is linked to the hunting grounds, which today are very successfully managed by JP “Vojvodinašume”. Given the fact that the state granted the right to the company to manage the best hunting grounds for large game that exist in our country, the company is obliged to, first of all, preserve and improve them.

SRP “Upper Podunavlje” received this prestigious certificate on 11/18/2014 after being nominated for the European Charter for Sustainable Tourism by the Europark Federation and following the mandatory steps – establishment of the Stakeholder Forum, creation of a strategy and action plan, filling out an extensive application form and field verification – and the awarding ceremony was organized on 11/12/2014 in to the European Parliament in Brussels, so that date is taken as the beginning of the implementation of all planned activities.
